I want to thank Rob Wittman for looking out for the interests of his constituents by not supporting the so called Health Care Reform bill. This bill is not about health, care, or reform. It is all about greed and power.

In spite of the lame-stream media’s constant haranguing about a “do nothing” Republican party, the Republican’s have a plan, albeit one that has about the same odds as being voted on by this congress as me winning the lottery without buying a ticket.

Congress’s approval rating among probable voters hovers around 25%. I assume that is the same 25% who still believe Obama is doing a good job, the same 25% who think the Government has their own money, the same 25% who get a thrill every time they hear Obama read from one of his teleprompters.

But most of the rest of us have had an epiphany. What this administration and congress are doing is inflicting irreparable harm to our economy, to our way of life, and to the legacy we leave future generations.

Health care has problems that need fixing, but trusting this congress and administration to fix them is like skydiving without a parachute. It may feel good for a little while but don’t expect that feeling to last.

Shame on them, and shame on us for allowing this to happen.
